CONSIDERATIONS FOR ATTENDEES
Georgia PTA is not responsible for lost or stolen items. There is no secure place to store personal items in the convention center. An area will be set aside in the general meeting room for carts and large totes. However, be sure to keep all valuables in your possession. Fire Marshal restrictions require all carts and tote bags to be placed under chairs in workshop rooms. Aisles must be clear of all objects. The following items are not allowed (the convention center may charge a fee to individuals or Districts who are in violation):
- Helium Balloons
- Outside Food
STATEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING FOR ATTENDEES
By registering, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth for the Georgia PTA Convention and Leadership Training 2023 in Duluth. Attendee registration is transferable. Payments for transfers must be handled between you and your replacement and your unit/council/district PTA president. There are no refunds for State PTA Registration and Event Fees.
All attendees at Georgia PTA Events shall observe CDC, CDPH, and local health department guidance on infectious diseases. Attendees are encouraged to conduct a health self-evaluation before attending the meeting and should refrain from attending if they have any symptoms of illness. Masks/face coverings are strongly recommended in areas with less than six feet of distance, such as meetings and workshops. This policy expires Sept 30, 2023.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND AUDIO RELEASE
By registering for or attending the Georgia PTA Convention and Leadership Training you hereby grant and assign the Georgia PTA and its legal representatives the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish for editorial, trade, advertising, or any other purpose and in any manner and medium, including website and internet promotion, all photographic, audio, video, and digital images of you and your guests took while in attendance at the Georgia PTA Convention and Leadership Training. By registering for or attending the Georgia PTA Convention and Leadership Training you hereby release the Georgia PTA and its legal representatives from all claims and liability relating to said photographs, audio, video, and digital images.
MINOR STUDENTS PARENTAL CONSENT FORM
Students younger than 18 years of age must bring a signed Parent/Guardian Approval and Consent to Treatment Form signed by a parent(s) or guardian(s). Download the form in English, or print the form. Students will also be asked to upload a copy of the signed Parent/Guardian Approval and Consent to Treatment form as a backup during the app registration process.
